it has long be rumored or assumed perhaps all the other faces around them, above, left, right, bellow all “friends” of the band, or more so celebrities friends of the band rather than close friends, many ppl claim the face on left of paul mccartney (makes sense, by then paul has already be in the studio with the boys as he’s featured on vega-tables but also did his trip to india for tm to which mike love was present) and the one on the right to be donovan (also chronologically fits, donovan also visited maharishi with mike love) but some also say it’s graham nash, some say lennon is at bottom, some suggest tiny tim is in the clouds.. glen campbell this, james arness that, ringo starr, it goes on.

it’s a fun game but the reality is that it’s most likely just blurry depictions of various beach boys, or is it? who knows

that interpretation with the different celebrity faces would def make sense given the album title but you're right who knows at the end of the day
