Also, Clayface at least so far, sounds like a fairly grounded film idea for the character considering. Its a $40M psychological horror flick that starts from a grounded idea
I’ll believe it when I see it
This is how they initially described X-men new mutants after all
Really underwhelmed by them doing two face and joker again
No guarantee whatsoever two face is happening
Dent is a very important character on his own
And joker was always planned to be a hannibal lecter type background character in these movies
are we thinking stan for dent cus that was my first thought and ii think thats generational casting
They really trying to get a billion dollars at the box office and force WB's hands.
What you alluding to when you say force WBs hand?

Putting Matt Reeves Batman into the DCU and not James Gunn
A villain that hasn't been done before + Scarlett = Mrs. Freeze
too good to be true but i also am not sure of stan as freeze

They've done a pure gender swap before, Mr being the guy in the tank vs Mrs

never heard of this before
interesting

Huh? Isn’t Matt reaves whole goal to stay out of the dcu? Pretty sure he was offered to join
never heard of this before

I was wrong, she's definitely made it to the point of being "Mrs. Freeze". suit, weapons, blue skin and all, BUT he hasn't been the one in the tank yet. I could see a movie doing that though, many (now considered canon) details of Mr. Freeze come from the different adaptations of him (i.e. Adam West Batman/Bruce Timm Batman) so I don't see why this couldn't invent something new as well
I just find it hard to believe you cast ScarJo and not make her a villain or someone very big and important. Freeze seems more logical within the universe but I could see them doing a realistic "biologist" take on Poison Ivy too

Riddler was the "main villian" and was in the movie for 20 minutes. These aren't traditionally cast roles where they're going to have full scenes dedicated to themselves. Reeves reiterated at Emmys that while a lot of franchises do an origin then focus on villians for sequels, he's dead set on continuing the focus on Rob's performance.
I'm sure ScarJo will play a big role, but maybe because she's actually interacting with Bruce/Batman throughout his investigation. There's still the rumor of her potentially being a love interest that may be revealed to be evil
The only way to play a big role in Reeves films is to actually be there alongside Batman

This not getting a billion and that’s no hate

You not allowed to say this

I mean yeah but the difference here is Clayface was still produced by Reeves. It ending up following a relatively grounded idea after him working with Flanagan and for a time having it in his universe wouldn't be a surprise.
An actor who has an accident and resorts to experimental d**** or an operation leads to a fantastical character...but the approach itself is fairly grounded. It's about the emotional journey that leads to that 1 fantastical break. Flanagan doesn't start at 100
Reeves already said this film’s story will be different than what’s been done before . He isn’t going to do a Dark Knight remake
People have selective reading so this won’t matter to them
they see joker and Harvey dent and assume they’re in 50% of the movie
