Most people I see going for walks are maskless and no one pulls them up about it
I went for a walk and kicked the footy with friends at the park the other day and they didn't wear masks and no one cared, I did cause I'm so used to it from wearing one all the time at work, but regardless there's defo not helicopters flying over us telling us to go home like Rogan said
Ah thanks just wanted to see wassup because the internet is making it look like hell there rn haha. I know how u guys see us sometimes so just tryna see from ur pov
Red of course, it was a rubber one
Imagine kicking anything less than a brand new $180 KB
red footys look better but yellow ones come off the boot nicer please believe me

I’ve heard some AFL players on podcasts say yellow ones are better but as a junior I only ever played with red ones and only ever owned red ones, I don’t mind the rubber for a casual kick on a warm day but as a kid a wet windy miserable Saturday mornings at Auskick marking a rubber ball was a nightmare

Is it as bad as it looks for ur freedoms? I.e. going outside maskless
on paper yes but its hard to enforce by police now. last year's lockdown had police checkpoints everywhere making sure people had a valid reason to be out and a lot of people got fined. but yer bars/restaurants/movie theatres/gyms are still closed. the majority of people wear masks and are just staying at home.

man the police aren't doing s***.
I work in one of the most popular nightlife areas in my city and there's a police station down the street from me. I work till the curfew and drive home past it and I've never been stopped to be asked for my papers.

a lot of cops are over it. along the lines of 'we didn't sign up for this'
only the power trippers and sycophants are interested in it anymore

man that fits the description of everyone who has ever become a cop ðŸ˜

nah i dont have much time for police (in the sense that they arent your friends) but if you know guys in the force most of them are just normal people doing a job then they go home and forget about it just like you and i
i.e. issues are more to do with "the police" than individual "police officers"

can’t speak for other states, but when i go out it’s like 50/50 masked and unmasked

twitter tells me that it's still Gladys/NSW's fault though
apparently their was lots of street parties in places which weren't the cbd
i don't think most people give af at this point

i mean it's s***house in sydney or melbourne but not because of the police rather the actual rules and way of life if that makes sense (being under lockdown)
the whole australian experience has been co-opted and morphed by right wing twitter and American news outlets which use our experience to attack the pandemic response in the US (I assume that is where you are from) which I would consider quite unsavoury
