My guess is the PS4 will still be games post PS5 launch because it’s happened with every other Sony home console before. PS2 lasted until 2008 in terms of game releases when the PS3 came out in 2006. Lots of games that came out in the early life of the PS4 also came out on the PS3 at the same time.

You’re underestimating how many games come out every year, over 200 games came out in 2019 if you combine AAA , AA and indie games

How many of those 200 were games previously unannounced that were something we cared about revealed in December with no delays
