Harris and Dallas counties but the prices are rising in both. Downtown in either will probably be too steep so the surrounding areas are your best bet but some of those are high too

Houston probably be the most fun, Austin is cool but getting a lot of influx of Cali folks so it’s gonna be pricey & surrounding Dallas areas are a good spot cause the city is only like 20-30 minute drive no matter where you are and cost less lol
