I figured Kara would be in here but it was actually really exciting to see her in the flesh. Suit is absolutely perfect
she was funny as s***
Don't know what yall expected
Hes never made a serious movie in his life and has to put Cornball jokes in every scene
I was happy for a superman movie to be colorful and fun. He emphasized that multiple times.
The serious movies can be for Batman and other characters.
Making a fun superman movie is just needed right now
Lowkey not sure if the her and Green Lantern were necessary at all. I understand it’s about the idea of a lived in universe but eh
Green lantern was good solely for the middle fingers flipping tanks.
I’m sure it’s been said by, well, everyone already, but Ultraman in this movie is really an exact copy of Black Noir from The Boys huh
Thank you James Gunn for making sure to include a slow mo shot of bouncing t*** there at the end
he got b****ed for like 70% of this movie. that's my biggest complaint.
also i dont like what they did with his krypton parents. i thought that was wack. was like ego and yondu again.
Lex was the best part. Nigga started crying because he lost to superman. he deadass hated that man so much
3/5
Superman was such a p**** in this
Track 7 was NOT for Batman btw lmao
It was for the f***ing president of Boravia walking to his room
I thought battinson was gonna show up in that scene somehow
So is Planet watch supposed to be gunns version of Storm watch from the comics
maybe the semi sequel is Superman and the Authority
“he turned Lex into a cartoon” about a literal comic book character is an insane criticism
I wanted to mention this before but I just saw a reddit post about it. I wonder who all the heroes in the hall of justice mural were.

I swear I saw Ted Kord on there

Gunn really made Superman the dude on the left and Lex the chad
Its the other way around lol
Did anyone else get the feeling that this was Superman And The Justice Gang instead of just solo Superman? I really liked the justice gang, just wasn’t as much solo Superman as I would have liked.
He was also a bit nerfed for sure, aside from the scene against the raptors, there weren’t many moment in this movie where you were truly able to feel how powerful Superman is. I do like the fact that Gunn didn’t make this iteration invincible to add stakes, but there should also be a happy medium here. Other than that, really enjoyed this one.

Felt like a clear Superman movie to me. Justice Gang just gave me the feeling that it’s a meta human lived in world. Don’t think they made it feel like an avengers type of movie or took away from Superman at all.
And I kind of like that especially since it’s only him as a year 3 Superman and this was the first fight he lost.
this has probably been pointed out already, but I love that Lois never actually gets saved by Superman in this film, it's only the other way around.

They completely dropped the ditzy lois schtick. It wouldve felt outdated
Its the other way around lol
Nah when Supes confronts Lex about Krypto it's exactly this
