Superman and Krypto in space >>>
Yea but it didn't make sense with the timeline. He left with Kara. I think Kara was gonna be after credits and Krypto moon shot was gonna be there instead.

I mean that moon scene could’ve happened before Kara picked him back up. Just cause it was in the post credits doesn’t mean it’s following a linear structure
Quick thoughts:
1. The ONLY scene of the movie that I didn’t like was when they were trying to escape the pocket dimension. I think it went on for too long and looked like mush
2. Jimmy O was a home run
I thought the Anti Proton river was sick lol. And Lex popping Malik in front of Supes caught me off guard.

Interesting!
Just to be clear, I loved the rest of the scenes inside of the pocket dimension but the river was too hectic and sloppy for rme
They’re in the movie for like 10 seconds max lol it’s not something to get mad at bro
Who is mad

I know thats why I said it shouldn't have been an after credits
pocket universe looked like Kamui dimension

Meh it’s a worthless scene, the only good spot to put it would have been post credits
Without spoiling anything what’d you think?
He hasn’t seen it yet. Also, this is the spoiler thread brother
Who is mad

i'm being very specific about my interactions with this thread lol
also wish Hawkgirl had more to do, kind of a nothing character in this movie
Lowkey not sure if the her and Green Lantern were necessary at all. I understand it’s about the idea of a lived in universe but eh
Just from Supergirl’s personality you can tell that her film will take heavy inspiration from the Guardians movies. Which is great.
Yeah hawkgirl added nothing and had no presence tbh. Nathan Fillion as Guy was great tho
Just saw it. Part of me loved it. Love the energy, the kindness, the hope, the visuals, the actors, the Lois Clark dynamic, Lois, Clark, Lex psychopath, the neo colorful silver age vibe, the world building
Part of me was so tiiiired with the dog. Over used humor that often kills the intensity and drama of the scenes.
The great talent of Gunn is the capacity to go from pathetic to intense in one action. He is able to be funny then emotional. And he used it greatly there. The kaiju scene was a perfect example of that. For some reason its death made me emotional.
I also loved the parallels between our world issues (immigrant incarcerations, Middle East conflicts) and how it’s treated. Gunn showed how complicated it would be for heroes to act on global crisis.
Something I also loved about this movie is this positive candid masculinity embodied by Superman. He just wants to do good. He just wants to help. And he is messing up.
So there are so much good things about this movie which might a 7.5/10 right now but can go to a 8, 8.5.
