I think this movie KINDA gives a thematic reasoning for her relationship with music.
When she’s trying to adjust to earth. It seems like she was using music and headphones to drown out being able to hear everything
But i dont think it pushed it or touched on it as much as it should have. I think it could have been a unique character trait if they explored it more.
