ChildhoodYou're right but representation does allow for the actualization of a character and I think that is somewhat important.
Also, I don't think most characters in this game more specifically the top tiers require some sort of lengthy dedication or difficult of use outside of like Peach in comparison to Smash 4.
I don’t think so. Mario is commonly used but no one considers the character top tier. Representations doesn’t change a thing.

Byleth is pretty slow and her arrows aren’t like Link’s or Pit’s the take a long time to come out even if you don’t charge it up. I think that alone will hinder the character a lot.
