There is no 30 min one take

They used 3 cameras and filmed it in 1 take (starting with the call i think) but its not rlly noticable imo

for real. i dont wanna hear anything about recency bias the way this episode portrayed the sudden shock and realization that someone extremely close to you has passed away is unrivaled for me. it was a 1:1 replication of those immediate moments. surreal honestly

    Beautifully anticlimactic twist.

That nigga didn’t deserve a dramatic death. Brodie died alone on the toilet after saying he was gonna get even more aggressive then he already has been.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a main character death like that but it worked so well. F*** Logan !!! He died a miserable old man. So alone and bitter that not even the viewers were there to see him at his very last moments. And his confidantes not giving a f***, went straight to business.

100%. to me, the whole way they depicted logan's death in this ep felt like the spiritual successor to david chase cutting to black on tony in the restaurant, except a more drawn out distant version. there's no meaningful cinematic ending given to either of these guys, just an abrupt rug pull with no chances for them to have any closure or goodbyes

I’m definitely a huge fan of scum bag characters getting anticlimactic or sudden deaths. I mean look at Uncut gems, in the happiest moment of his life, just won a s*** ton of money and BAM!!! Night night nigga

The fact that you can show a main character die without showing the main character die and still have the audience super engaged for an entire hour is genius writing and acting.

Also it’s crazy how Greg was in the same location as the kids but still felt like he wasn’t. By the time Greg got the call about Logan I had forgot he was at the wedding and for a second thought he was somewhere else
