I posted earlier itt but if you remember Roman kept telling Kendall it could’ve been him but but he can’t for photo ops with his stitches but his stitches looked too good atm
He didn’t want to do the vote in person when his face looked perfectly fine because then everyone would know he bowed out of gunning for CEO. Indirectly he was asking Kendall to f*** up his stitches so that no one would think he pussied out of CEO position. He was having a breakdown. Although most probably knew he wasn’t fit for CEO that’s how he wanted to explain it to himself
Rewatch the scene and you can hear him telling Kendall “the stitches look too good” and “they’ll say I pussied out”

Agreed it ended at the perfect spot. The siblings couldnt even run their own venture when they tried so there wouldn't be much else after this unless it turned into some drama, Dynasty-type s***.

I saw it as both. Kendell forced Roman's head into his shoulder cause he wanted him to be submissive and Roman kinda wanted that in the moment so he didn't really fight it

I had Game of Thrones there but the final season makes it just a tier below
