As long as babygirl Joyce survived it's fine

She’s easily the best character in my book. Her Season 1 performance and character development is the heart of Stranger Things, imo. After that season, she sort of fades into the background, but without her in Season 1, the show loses a lot of heart.

I rewatched Seasons 1/2/4 the days before and on the premiere and there was a fun, epic and super scary season 5 in there that came to mind immediately
