Jan 1One thing I don't fully understand is how Will was so connected to Vecna/The Mindflayer but seemingly unaffected but their deaths. You'd think he would wither in pain or maybe even go unconscious. We don't even see him expel the black particles like the kids did

That was my one issue with this finale. No logical explanation of how they ALL got out clean from that situation after the portal blew. The military and mad doctor just lets them all go home?

probably the best moment of the entire finale. until it happened didnt realize she truly deserved the killing blow more than anyone

Yeah writers clearly gave up with this s*** and said f*** it but at least the last 5 minutes of the finale somewhat made up for it. Hit you in the feels the right way

They should of had the doctor try and run into the upside down after El and they both die. That way it would at least be like "okay we lost our commander there's not much we can do to yall I guess"

The fight outside with the group and flayer was pretty cool but felt very straightforward and perfectly executed/easy all the way through?
Not really mad at what they did but it’s like oh okay that’s all I guess, they had it figured out 100%
