It was alright

Probably had the worst experience with watching this, and did not have anything to do with the movie.
There was a cobweb dangling in front of the projector, and looked like a fly stuck in the film gate. It was annoying as s***, and I don’t even know if I’m willing to see the movie twice cause it was so ehh.

The acting was okay? For a movie hinging on performances, they were kind of ehh. That and a combination of very tacky dialogue (though I might have to rewatch to try to understand more). There were fun little details with perception of who’s who. There is a very funny joke in the middle that has no reason to exist. And this movie had really solid blood/injury prosthetics. Giovanni Ribisi’s cinematography was also really nice, kind of De Palma esque.

It was okay. It was missing an “it factor” to make it good/great. Fun time though, and it’s a breeze with its 90min runtime

I’m not locked into anime like that but I see the ones in theaters occasionally, worth watching or will I be lost?

i would skip this tbh cause it’s not a movie and just the first 3 eps of a series that’s about to premiere next season so unless you plan on watching the rest of the season might be kinda pointless
