He had said he would have signed any direct payments to the people before the election, and asked Pelosi to send him something to sign. Congress and Senate don’t want to send anything out unless they can attach a billion other things to it. They’re holding the stimulus checks hostage with a bunch of bullshit that they want that’s totally irrelevant.
