some people can afford their student debt tho. and some people are still poor with no student debt so how is that helping them?

Have it at a safe and accessible place.
Other disposable income should be invested into index funds
And rest of the money you invest/spend however you want to.

People who can afford their student debt have a huge bill that over 50% of them will pay for the rest of their lives. Without that bill they could be free to do all kinds of things financially. Housing. Stimulate economy. Invest. Donate.
Some of those things greatly help poor people without student debt.

that doesn’t help them NOW tho. millions of people are about to lose their homes after december and waiting for the economy to get better isn’t going to help that. how are people supposed to feed their kids and pay their bills right now from that.

nah she already claimed me as a dependent before all this. she already said i could have the money she don't care its more so the fact that the government never gave me hazard pay for working the entire pandemic and don't think im fit for the 600
