I’m guessing reviews the day OF early access
that would be the best case scenario to me. I don't need journalist who even if they got the game today and had an entire month would still feel like a rushed review opinion that much.
Bethesda just dont make good games bro
I know you're not serious.
Although they're all flawed, I've loved every single game they dropped.
Except the mmo's. Elder scrolls online was okay
People love to s*** on Fallout, but I loved every single one of those f***ers.
Blowing a giant radiated orcs head off with a rifle in slow motion will never get old.

Yeah they're such a comfort zone
nobody beats them for sheer exploration

why is the marketing for this game so dry
bethesda and/or playstation was spamming deathloops advertisement
this is the big game, we been waiting centuries for xbox to finally have something. they should be grabbing consumer by the back of the head and skull f***ing them with ads
let them know ITS COMING

they gave us 45 minutes of primarily gameplay. Skull f***ing people with ads is so unnecessary it comes with gamepass. Gamescom there will be another showing then a bigger push in final 2 weeks but trailers will only sell this game so much vs word of mouth from people actually playing it

They testing out that new sony method of not marketing their AAA games until 2 weeks before release
Prob just in case they delay
this isn't getting delayed lol. This is likely already in the process of getting certified and going gold. There is such thing as oversaturation. its with gamepass why would they pump up and waste money on over marketing when everyone who centrally cares about it knows its coming. The sales are through the roof already separate from gamepass. there are no trailers you can show the skeptics that will make them buy.

that's for hardcores, casuals see s*** on a bus passing by and say oh my kid might like that
they see a tv ad and think something looks cool
us on a gaming sxn of a forum are already well in the know, most marketing is meant to reach people that are far less in the know than us

you don't have to sell this to casuals. IT comes with a subscription service lol. they will drop a few more trailers. But this games goal isn't to market to casuals. the service is what is being sold more than the game itself. The game itself is booming on steam for a reason.
not every game needs to be sold to lowest common denominator . if someone doesn't know starfield is coming again word of mouth matters more than pumping out 6 trailers, previews or anything else. This isn't an armored core 6 situation.
As I just said to reach people that are far less in the know the word of mouth will spread of the game. The focus has to be launch and being less buggy than previous titles. You can show ALL THE TRAILERS AND GAMEPLAY you aren't going to hook a casual with a space rpg until they feel that its fun and not as buggy as previous titles. Those of us that preordered and prepurchased don't give a f*** or believe but convincing a casual to preorder a game that they can get in a subscription service that first month could be a dollar or 16$ a month?
there is a low cost of entry . trailers and more gameplay are coming but their SALES are clearly good enough now where they dont need to do an obnoxious skull f***ing ad campaign which is GOOD.

They don't market game pass for people that already are subscribed to the service man
They market it to get new people subbed up
This is the kind of game that should increase sales of the console, that should increase people that purchase a subscription, whether that is on PC or XBOX. This is the kind of game that will still be sold and bought at it's regular price point as well.
I'd be going hard with it, let the world know, make sure everyone has heard s*** is about to drop.
