When I genuinely like a game idea or scope I will buy whether its on gamepass, ps plus or not. Also preordering for support/ early access.

my hot take is 60fps isn't needed in every game. Unless its multiplayer, twitch shooter or a lot consistently going on . Fighting game. Something where frames matter

if it was going from 60 to 30 in constant loops that would be more disorienting for me. I do get gamers wanting a consistent 60 but also I will be playing on pc lol.

No it’s definitely not but 60fps is needed in an rpg in my opinion, people on pc will probably get 60fps mods within the first week of the game being out though honestly

This game screams opposite of that to me but I see both sides . I like Bethesda rpgs. I loved fallout 3 when I played at launch . I like having a different experience than others and taking things in . I could see how someone could be bored or not interested though . Will come down to quest design being more than just go to a location and kill things . In lead up hope they give some idea of quest or a little more something

I was thinking about it but this just confirms I need a pc

I wish devs would realize we prefer 60fps over fidelity

its not fidelity the reason this game is 30 fps on consoles. They are able to push 1440p on a series s, and full 4k on series x. Its obvious with all these mechanics in place the game is heavily CPU limited. As seen by the system requirements on PC. Bumping down the resolution wont do s*** to get us a performance mode. With all the game mechanics and physics, the CPU can only handle so much.
