it only screams confidence in quality if Bethesda starts their marketing campaign at E3 with deep dive gameplay + preorders + Xbox console bundle

I hope not, with Zelda delayed, if starfield gets delayed too then we really only have god of war to get hyped for.

I don’t think it will get delayed, Todd said in November that the game is playable start to finish and they are now adding more detail and polish, plus he really doesn’t wanna change from 11-11-22, that game is coming out no matter what imo, it’s just a matter of how buggy it’ll be because Bethesda titles are really complex and they all still have bugs to this day lol

it being fully playable a year before release does give me hope tbh

I work in the industry and I’ve played fully playable builds 2+ years before the game releases. That’s usually because the final years are more focused on refining things, doing finishing touches like all the voice acting, sound effects, cinematics, and playtesting and bugfixing

do those games release on time ? just to check

We’ll see, some of the games I’ve played haven’t released yet

I played and finished a build of ghost of tsushima that was basically the full game about 2 years before release, the voice acting and cutscenes weren’t finished but they spliced in the actual motion cap raw footage so I had an idea of what was going on

And sometimes you’ll just read a paragraph of text that explains what cutscene will be there
