i feel like the opposite is gonna happen tbh. i think theres gonna be a groundswell of reappraisal 'this game is fire actually'.

the ps5ers have had 2 and a half years of expectation dampening and now they finally get the game at a slightly cheaper price and with the new updates. these people are primed to be way more charitable and open to the game and i think its gonna get a boost of positive will over the next week

This game is garbage and the final product considering the amount of time, money and prestige that went into making it is extremely embarrassing. I cannot possibly imagine defending this kind of slop. So emblematic of the way gaming has gradually been ruined over the last few years

Unless I’m wrong it looks like the ps5 update removed the loading screens between planets and you can actually fly between them now?

Damn so this game is ass?

it’s weird they did learn from fallout 4, so it’s the dialogue system and persuasion from fallout 3 and new Vegas but the writing got worse. bland characters. Forgettable quests. The new update seems like it’ll make flying in space a lot better though, but the core game is still… meh.

I won’t lie I really hope the Terran armada expansion is good. Far harbor was the best part of fallout 4 imo, they tend to go hard with expansions.

I never finished the first DLC when it initially came out. Went back on pc earlier last week and remembered why

Just completely forgettable plot, characters and writing. It’s honestly impressive how they managed to spoil what could’ve been a really cool self contained side story. I’m hoping they learned from their mistakes for Terra armada, but I don’t have high hopes currently.

Overall I enjoyed the game. It’s just FO4 in space with slightly worse writing. But it could’ve been so much more.

That said, Entangled is probably a top 5 Bethesda mission since FO3, it feels really unique. The main quest has its moments, I think it’s worth playing through at least twice, maybe just skip the dlc.

I also thought it was mid. Repetitive areas, barebone missions, dry characters. But you should still try it yourself if you’re actually interested in the game

New DLC file size is a lot smaller than Shattered Space, which was super short

Because it hasnt added a whole new planet and area. Its just a different type of DLC. Free Lanes itself is massive
