What level are y’all?
I just hit 34

rushing ng+ because of this that or another perks seems off to me. doesnt kinda ruin your first playthrough?
id say people are more suggesting to focus on the main story quests your first playthrough rather than rushing it. Doing a 100% playthrough on ng+ with all the extra content may be more appealing to some people.

focusing on main quest feels like "rush it" to me - especially in this type of game. just my opinion, though, haha. i get your point that if you want to 100% it could be more appealing doing it with the ng+ spoilers i have heard. i feel like it is not that enticing
Why even buy the game so early then
Cause I’m sinking my teeth into it

So u gonna wait 6-8 months for dlc to come out and then do ng+ with factions quest?

yeah it really all depends on the type of player you are, I went into ng+ and played a few hours but decided to roll back to a save from my first playthrough because i missed all my ships and guns lol
what difficulty are you playing on
I didn’t even check
I’m assuming the default is just normal?

i think so, yeah. i am playing on hard and xp does not seem to be rolling in. curious how much difficulty impacts xp

How many hours you got tho

i just touched 30 hours, haha. i am not sure what level i am but i know i am not where you are xD
Is there any way to register stolen guns? I stole a gun on a mission and dont want to lose it if ever arrested
Sell to trade kiosk then buy back without exiting kiosk
gives a good overview of the systems and gameplay loop without spoiling to much
Okay so far this does look like a massive improved fall out (never played) space edition in ways. Yeah I see what you all are saying it is not bad at all, it looks pretty damn addictive actually with all the content. I’m intrigued, and I say that never owning an Xbox.

To be fair I’ve pretty much only been doing quests and a little exploring
I spent like an hour and a half learning how building ships work but I really wanna find a cool planet and start building a home
Character customization in this game is more limited than previous games than fallout / elder scrolls cause yorue in space and need a suit most the time. But there is varying suits.
But the game loop after getting through the tutorial is going to various planets, and discovering POC’s, and somehow it leads you down a quest line. Honestly it’s all about exploration. For example today I decided f*** it to land on a random ice giant that had no quest markers or anything pointing towards it. Ended up finding a giant underground facility that led me on an 40 min long quest to discover what happened down there and fighting creepy xenomorph type aliens.
Now take this, and realize there’s 1000 + planets. Not all are that interesting but it’s about that sense of discovery. And quests naturally lead you towards quest filled planets with factions and cities and villages.
That’s Bethesdas strength tbh, doing something that seems like it’s just gonna be nothing then boom you’re 3 hours into a random quest line.
It sounds fun, I can’t hate it nor love it (not having played it) but I do see if you were a fan before for the Bethesda games you’ll not be disappointed.
Thank you for the great responses.

wait im confused, so you lose everything after NG+, wouldn’t it make sense to finish the main quest and then do side content so all of your equipment and stuff saves?

Yes
Played for like 7 hours today. This game is just too good

That would mean ignoring all the enticing characters and side stories that you are inevitably exposed to along the way. This the type of game where you cannot exactly tunnel vision the main quest line without seeing anything else.
If I had to tunnel main quest then I would not enjoy the game, personally. It strips away the rpg - and Bethesda - feel completely. Just to come back and do it with a little extra power? Just not for me!! Haha
Ryujin storyline is my fav so far
This final mission is actually hard, doesnt help game is bugged
