can you elaborate more cause TLJ controversy to me was because it was just a carbon copy of a new hope. Do you think it’s going to be hated or something else?

A full redemption wasn't/isn't needed. Stormtroopers are stormtroopers lol. They'll always be, to an extent, just fodder. Prior to this trilogy though they were nameless, faceless, emotionless, robotic fodder. This trilogy has given them character. Finn's transformation alone was enough to show this but we've also seen other Stormtroopers draw blood to show that actual living creatures are behind those masks + we've seen them go rogue in order to carry out personal vendetta's against others, namely Finn.

I think what they started with Finn was amazing, the idea of an escaped Stormtrooper, the soldier of a dark side without a face that now has a face, amazing

Unfortunately his journey doesn’t lead to something if you ask me, like people said it here, Force implied some chemistry with Rey, a Jedi, to then be totally scrapped in TLJ to go meet some new girl and go save horses... I guess that’s cool, it didn’t mean much to me

But other than THAT, and that is a good point you bring either I liked the direction of its arc or not, they’re still targets that are here to look cool and getting shot, but yeah TFA did try to shake it up I reckon

What would he have to clean up though. I just think rian Johnson made a bad movie. He probably should’ve killed Reia though. I think everything he did didn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. Only thing that mattered was that Ben became the supreme leader.
