I just want well done alien characters that also strive to use the force . When they do a black or Hispanic character and they the only one to represent their race they lack culture or they strive to be white in a future where culture would have changed a lot
They gave us a black character and made him a buffoon his arc has been nothing.

Which at the end is like why do a black character at all then . I need to see Han to see how gambino does . But it’s 2019 so many movies effortlessly have had nine white characters who they were just well done characters . Why do major franchises struggle with this notion like it’s that hard . Annihiliation goes off . It’s like they just don’t want to invest in writing or have non white writers. How many times can we see the same heroes journey

The Force Awakens I think was the beginning of something quite solid, The Last Jedi if I'm being honest I'd say that was feeling a bit iffy for me. I didn't necessarily agree with a lot of the choices in that and that's something that spoke to Mark a lot about and we had conversations about it. And it was hard for all of us, because we were separated
