I like to believe that JJ Abrahms came up with a good movie and the execs at disney decided to release TROS

It fr feels like 30min-1hr of the movie is just missing

It feels like that because they discredited everything that happened in The Last Jedi. Whether you liked The Last Jedi or not discrediting it was just going to put the third movie in a hole. They had to throw so many things in last second to do so.

Part of me feels like it was JJ Abrams doing because Rian flipped the themes from 7 into 8.

Yeah I'm not saying that Rey and Kylo should have sparked a romance.

But with their chemistry that strong it would seem weird for Rey to have a side affection lead to a romance to me.

She seemed very dedicated to flipping Kylo and never showed a romantic attraction to Finn.

Finn and Rey had major siblings energy.
Rey and Kylo had amazing chemistry but I think Rian made it clear that Kylo blew his chance at the end of the throne fight, JJ bringing it back in TROS is beyond me lmao. Especially not giving the best actor in the trilogy any lines for the last half

My TLJ theater experience was hilarious. Went from being super excited to complete dissapointment Prolly the most dissapointed I ever been watching a movie
