A truly good successor to the OG games (and their underrated PSP spin-offs). This ended up being what the 2015 game should have been.

It sucks it took a massive controversy and the stigma that permeated for years to get the game where it needed to be, but the final product in 2025 is a lot of fun. I still pray we get another Battlefront game even if it means another reboot if EA don’t wanna do it

ive had this absolutely massive problem with ea just churning out new titles instead of building on a new one. thats how you got perfectly functional and probably still fun games like battlefield bad company 2 only being unplayable because they shut down the servers. like the game works and plays perfectly fine but they just cant be f***ed maintaining support for it for some reason. always felt so wasteful jumping from one title to another, even battlefront 2 plays perfectly fine now so making a third one just isnt necessary

Good. Its honestly fun. Maybe not perfect, could've been alot more added. But there's nothing better that's star wars right now. So I'll take it until they give me something better

a lot of the people that made this game and worked on Battlefield before that left EA/Dice and went to Embark

they’ve made Arc Raiders and The Finals in the last couple years
