Why is this suddenly active again? Did something get annnounced?

From what I've seen the recent 20th anniversary of Episode 3 and new season of Andor got people checking out some more Star Wars stuff lately. Battlefront 2 being a decent game now and frequently on sale leads to some new/returning players.

I have a job now but on Saturday and Sunday I'm still about this life

starlight’s assault is great! i’ve been playing strike and supremacy the most. it’s still hard to find games in the sequel era, but the prequel era you can always find a game right now.

besides what the other guy said (Andor & ROTS), it always has a surge on may 4th and the star wars fortnite news also i think made people nostalgic for battlefront 2

that was the reason i hopped back in then i noticed it was popping on other game modes

also they patched some of the exploits and cheaters recently for PC but there is still one exploit out there unfortunately
