The ending was mid ngl, the fact they hyped up Baylan’s motive for 7 episodes for him to only wander in the mountains was not it.

Other than that I’m not mad at how the rest of episode turned out

Hopefully they will expound more story wise in the next season.

For me personally I loved all the Anakin stuff. Growing up on the prequels it was fantastic to see especially live action. The amount of hate 1-3 got is insane lol I mean sure they’re no 10/10 best movies ever but c’mon now.

Especially Hayden getting trashed on his performance back then. I’m glad times changed and perspective shifted (especially with the dumpster fire of 7-9). Plus the kids that watched 1-3 around/in their 20’s now can talk about how they loved those movies.

Also the actor died (rip) so wtf are they gonna do with the character now?

I can't really put my finger on it, but the dialogue in this show at times seems so unnatural. Like, painfully generic at times.

It’s how nostalgia works. New movies come out old ones looked back at more fondly in hindsight

Not always. Because I like the og trilogy (and I didn't exist then), and I really dislike the prequels/sequels

People get nostalgic over different things. I grew up with prequel trilogy but don’t have nostalgia for it and still think 1 & 2 are bad

That being said I know I have nostalgia for other movies that could be considered bad

i see a lot of fans that were prob kids when the last jedi came out that are now teenagers on twitter saying how amazing the sequels are

in like 10 years those will be the loudest voices online and we will be the boomers talking about the prequels

Yeah I’ve only seen the sequel trilogy once. I just remember being disappointed in it from the jump because of how 7 was too similar to A New Hope while canonically taking place after that OG trilogy

Like how did this all happen again after everything that happened previously. I probably would’ve liked it more if they borrowed from A New Hope but said it was a soft reboot with new characters or something

Multi-billion-dollar company, but couldn't lay out a well-written plan for a new SW trilogy. Truly some mind-boggling s***. For all his faults, at least Lucas had a plan in mind.

i loved this show but man they can’t make a good finale episode ever in any of these shows
