what do clone wars fans think about baylan standing on the fathers hand
Hate it
Hate it
i meant more like what theories do people have lol
but yeah i know a lot of people hate when star wars goes more magical/fantasy
Man, they should’ve had Filoni-verse and be the sequels and I don’t hate hate the sequels like that.
They’re really never making anything nearly as good as Andor
I still need to watch the show, and I’m genuinely asking, but does it set up anything or is it a show that just adds layers to post prequel - pre-original trilogy? Cause basically everyone from Rouge One dies, no?

All I have to say about Andor is it is a great story, with a multitude of new and compelling characters that doesn’t rely on any nostalgia or established world building outside of its own narrative.
It’s less of a Star Wars show and just a really good political thriller.
Not sure if they’re planning another season. They did leave it a bit open ended so they could if they wanted to.

it's gonna have a season 2, but that will be the final season
yeah exactly it's cool but it's less Star Wars and more political spy thriller
Yes. Instead of just leaving the planet and saving his resources, he wastes more troops to build suspense lol
Waste? Less troops and Sabine & Ahsoka might have made it onto the ship
This series and Andor had some of the best set design ever in Star Wars. I don't know if i've been sleeping on the fight chorography but they gave Ahsoka some one of the most intense fights especially with Morgan. Morgan's sword effects are so trim too, I want to see more of that. In my opinion this show actually provided meaningful fan service with the small teases at the force family and zombie storm troopers.
Still a couple loose ends but it’s going to keep me hype for the next season. RIP we won’t get to see Ray Stevenson play Baylan again.
Shin definitely gonna team up with the Ahsoka and Sabine after getting stranded by her master and thrawn

The thing that sucks about all this stuff is that it all eventually leads into the sequel trilogy

Right 😂😂 that fact will randomly pop in my head when they show the ignorance of the government

That’s a good thing. Similar to how the clone wars etc added to the prequels and how the Kenobi series bridged between the prequel era OT.

Bro you literally have a star destroyer and they got no ship. Just get out of there and rain down hellfire. There's literally no reason to waste troops especially when he destroys the tower anyway after the fact. All Thrawn accomplishes in doing that is losing his troops and Morgan. Bro couldn't even kill any of those turtle crab people. S*** is so dumb. They should get the Andor writer to write Thrawn's character
the last 2 episodes left a lot more to be desired
my favorite episodes were 4-5
i loved the season overall but it would have been nice if some of the threads they started this season got answered or advanced, you get the Rebels finale answered but that's about it
these Disney shows are too drawn out to be movies, not enough happens but then 8 episode is also pretty short for a season of a show.. especially for an epic story like this is trying to tell, Boba & Obi could have been 2 episodes lol
12 episodes would have been a lot better, I wish they canceled Boba/Obi early on and gave the budget to this show
the writing in this show could be better I think Filoni has the world building of Lucas, story concepts.. he's amazing at aesthetics/storyboarding and feel but he also suffers from similar writing, even worse honestly.. The Clone Wars & Rebels has a lot of amazing writers helping.. one of the main things holding it back from being classic
the problem with this show & Mando season 3 was that it felt like it was just setting things up for a sequel which I don't think is a problem if you leave a few things like "what will happen with the coming war" but the last 15 minutes was like one wait and see after another
it just feels like Dave & Jon are placing the pieces on the board where they need to be to get you hyped for the next thing without worrying too much about the why
think the show overall is 8.5/10 defintely the best live action Star Wars we've had in the Disney era but I'm not putting this above Rebels & The Clone Wars Season 7
hope we get a Season 2 or a trilogy of movies or whatever they're planning
Fair a***ysis
Book of Boba Fett slightly over Obi Wan for me tho...it gets points for that great Mando standalone episode and also for bringing back the blue bounty hunter guy whose name escapes me rn
Obi Wan was bogged down by annoying kid Leia and Reva's annoying ass
I’m wondering what power is calling to Baylan and why the Mothers want to leave.
Some people hinting at Abeloth but that would be a wild villain to have for potential movies.
this might actually be possible with that ending didn’t think so a few weeks ago but now
