I'm guessing that Baylan wants to merge the light side and the dark side to create a new religion which will break the cycle of Jedi vs Sith
Yeah that's what I was thinking too since his mission is beyond imperial war bullshit. He knows power is the only way to do that.
So far still think andor was better but this some great s*** so far jeeez I’m loving this
The turtle stuff + Sabine's interaction with the howler could have been cut short. It went for too long. She also found Ezra waaay too easily... like in 30min
Overall good episode. I like how they are expanding the SW universe and exploring other galaxy. The world building seems to be on the right track.
I have a feeling they might not leave that galaxy that easily. If Felonis's big movie showdown happens in this other galaxy, it would explain how it didn't overlap with the sequel trilogy.

Need to bring in Tanalor

Andor is more gritty rebellion stuff which is dope but I like the mystical side just as much.

this feels more like Star Wars to me
Andor is really great but you could make it a generic sci-fi show and it would still work
Star Wars has an epic mythical fantasy adventure element this show embodies

Same. Except I don’t care for this at all, unfortunately
Those stormtroopers looked gnarly af, love it
Yeah Thrawns intro was pretty fire the music and shouting really added to it
this easy to show to someone who’s only seen the movies?
Maybe? The ties to Anakin might bring some familiarity.
I know my parents haven't watched the animated shows but they have watched Mando and Book of Boba Fett and they're enjoying it just fine
dude wtf disneyplus removed group watch. F*** this.
didn’t even know this
used that feature a ton wtf disney

Yeah I think so. I knew who Ahsoka was but I wasn't familiar with any of the other characters at all and they did a good job at establishing them and not making the people that didn't watch Rebels feel left out.

Possibly reanimated from Nightsisfer magic

I am really liking this and I never watched Clone Wars or Rebels
i love that this episode hinted at the force maybe being from this different galaxy and that the witches are from this planet/galaxy, also baylon talking about some very dark power this planet holds, something so powerful it turned this planet into a waste land.. love the mythical mystery

I’m wondering what power is calling to Baylan and why the Mothers want to leave.
Some people hinting at Abeloth but that would be a wild villain to have for potential movies.
also dude looks so much like ezra it looks like they based the animated character off him its insane

yeah it’s interesting to think about they’ve probably been there for a long time though, before thrawn arrived, i bet it isn’t something from the old EU but we will see 🤔
6 episodes in
this is easily the best thing Disney Star Wars has made in live action
Mando Season 1 was really cool in a lone ranger/bounty hunter kinda way but feels so small which works perfect for the show but is less grand.. Season 2 expanded on that but also lost some of the magic but Season 3 was unfocused/boring, the plot feels unearned & contrived like Boba, Obi & the Sequels in a lot of ways
Andor is an awesome mix of drama, spy thriller & sci-fi, I love how it takes Star Wars to new places but it doesn't have that mythical high fantasy element that made the Lucas movies/TCW so special.. which isn't a fault, it wouldn't work with Andor it's just a personal preference
Star Wars for me is laserswords, drama, world building, epic myths/prophecies (mystery) & adventure
still not sure if I like this show more than The Clone Wars Season 7 or Rebels but it's up there.. they need to give Dave a movie trilogy
