lol im the same, literally had no interest in her last one. this one sounds like it's more interesting, will prob check it out this weekend
Don't sleep on Daddy's Home

Daddy's Home is a great album
its wild because it got widespread critical acclaim when it came out and now some people are trying to paint All Born Screaming as a "return to form"

Maybe cause it’s more similar to older St. Vincent sonically? Daddy’s Home was kind of a weird departure
Both great albums though for what they are. She’s an awesome artist
daddy's home had some songs but as an album it was not great. jacktonoff muddled the s***. That's why she had to take it back to one here
i'm excited for this.
should i listen first on speakers or headphones
headphones
hmmmm, first time hearing Flea. i do not like this one as much as Broken Man. it's alright
big time nothing is funky. i like the "i look inside" refrain.
she's leaving a good amount of space in these songs to just let the production rock. idk how i feel about it
as far as singles, broken man > flea > big time nothing
i couldn't have seen these last 2 tracks coming after the singles and descriptions of the album lol, interesting album as always from her. i'm gonna need a couple listens
honestly sounds like she had a blast recording this even tho she's talked a bit about the hardships that came with it
Still really bothers me that she posted the album cover the day after Aaron Bushnell's self immolation and she said jackshit about it.
I'm not someone who usually feels entitled to political statements from artists, but like....she would lose absolutely nothing for the gesture of acknowledging the bad timing and saying something out of respect. But nope, she just dropped that s*** and (has still) said nothing.
