to me it’s now about the lack of clarity and perp work to cast the spell effectively while still keeping Parker’s loved ones in the know.
Feels weird to me that Strange wouldn’t elaborate in great detail on how the spell works before starting to cast it and Parker only just realizing how it works afterward,

I promise you it’s not that hard.
My criticisms after two viewings -
1. The very obvious play to the memes of the Raimi Universe
2. Doctor Strange’s willingness at all to cast a spell so powerful it can affect time and space for Peter Parker (a kid he was more then willing to sacrifice in Infinity War to keep the Stone safe)
3. Flash parading around (writing a f***ing book) pretending to be Spider-Man’s best friend and seemingly having no legal consequences to that.
4. a severe lack of legal consequences for Aunt May and Happy left unaddressed in the first act. (Felt like a scene or two more with Murdock more utilized could have fixed that)
5. A lack of explanation on what they decided to do with Eddie Brock and Peter Parker meeting for the first time.
1. I loved the use of the memes. Of course it’s nostalgia bait but it wasn’t overused or felt forced to me.
2. Strange said they had used the spell for far less before. And he didn’t expect Peter to start messing with it so it didn’t feel out of character to me. But I get what you’re saying.
3. Flash loves Spider-Man. And he is a kid with low confidence trying to come off confident.

5. Well Venom could’ve never stayed in the MCU cause the spell was the only reason he was there in the first place
