Funniest part of this movie for me was during the Dr strange post credits, some white girl in the front row saw America pop up and yelled at the top of her lungs "OMFG THATS JESSICA !!" in front of God and everyone
Like damn b**** how you gonna be loud AND wrong at the nerd off
Jessica who?
I missed it, I only caught the first post-credits scene with Venom
Oh no this film didn’t have a “we’re nyew yoakers, you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us” scene it f***ing blows
Do y'all lack so much nuance that you cant see that he said he liked the movie?
The crane scene and mess with one of us scenes are both corny as f*** THATS NOT OUR POINT
Do you guys agree though on the Andrew personality change? I understand that for the purposes of having a movie, one of them needed to be comedic relief, but they really made my man an extra in Dumb & Dumber
The personality change is why it worked for me tbh
they used my best friends grandpa’s Philippines paintings for the movie
It’s at Ned’s house
The city of New York is a vital part of Spider-Man's character whether you like it or not
It’s the same New York scene in every movie if they changed it up I would give a s***
I ain't going to lie to you although a Dr Strange trailer is cool after the credits it definitely feels kind of misplaced
How? NWH ties directly into multiverse of madness
Y'all defend s*** so much that its crazy cause you won't even quote the people you will just sly them with some straw man argument when we all just want the best spider man movie possible. When if many of y'all were 100% content with far from home and homecoming you would never get a movie like this
Wyoming mfs mad ITT

The closest type of scene in this one was them jumping all over Spidey and MJ in the intro right? nice lil subversion
He gotta make NY love him again

I know that but do you partially not see how an epilogue of this movie in credits would hit harder than immediately promoting your next movie?

Yeah the are you in a band s*** was kinda stupid

He gotta make NY love him again
that man that jumped towards his legs when he started swinging
that man that jumped towards his legs when he started swinging
Nigga was on one
Feel a little bad for never watching the Garfield Spider-Man’s because his impact was nullified in this.
I just wasn’t f***ing with them trailers as a kid at all
MCU electro quips
Bring Jamie back, he got the charisma for it
he had that improv-ish infinity war kinda feel to his character

I’m sick of people complaining over pointless s*** 👍 New Yorkers dropping quips will not make a spider-man movie better no matter how much you stroke yourselves off thinking you’re actually a better writer than everyone else in Hollywood
f*** i gotta watch this again soon
Going tonight
Then next week
Neeed to listen to the dialogue more lol
Homecoming spiderman trilogy already one of the best trilogies of all time
I get why they wanted the final fight at the Statue of Liberty but I wish it had been like in the ps5 game all across the city

He was radiant and endearing
I promise you if you look into ANY movie too much you will find something to criticize.
I promise you it’s not that hard.
My criticisms after two viewings -
1. The very obvious play to the memes of the Raimi Universe
2. Doctor Strange’s willingness at all to cast a spell so powerful it can affect time and space for Peter Parker (a kid he was more then willing to sacrifice in Infinity War to keep the Stone safe)
3. Flash parading around (writing a f***ing book) pretending to be Spider-Man’s best friend and seemingly having no legal consequences to that.
4. a severe lack of legal consequences for Aunt May and Happy left unaddressed in the first act. (Felt like a scene or two more with Murdock more utilized could have fixed that)
5. A lack of explanation on what they decided to do with Eddie Brock and Peter Parker meeting for the first time.
