I’m the one who told him about it initially actually. I was able to use it to load $400 of credit and only pay $200, kinda insane. So every game I buy this year has been half off

No you cannot, and even if you're scouring the internet for hours at a time looking for deals to do so, most people are not doing that

I posted that cashapp deal in a thread and then kroniic made the thread and dozens of us saved, that’s just one example but there’s deals all the time

We’re not “talking” anything, the deals are there for digital games. You can buy day one new games at a discount using many methods, period.

That just makes it a clear benefit compared to physical which doesn’t have sales like that on day one. You have to wait months, and at that point it’s on digital sale too lol.

The game itself is not being sold at discounted price, you're using a separate coupon/deal and applying it to the purchase of the new game.

You can do literally the same thing if you build up rewards points at any physical retailer
