What would be the more appropriate document for the modern movement then?
Maybe something like "Hinterland: America's New Landscape of Class and Conflict"

I see it as people are fed up with how communities are policed and did it to show solidarity when it was evident the government was not going to care for its people
like u said, not a long term solution but I like the idea that people did that in general
also
thats dope as hell
history kinda repeats itself or ideas and movements come back in waves the more u learn the more its kinda mindblowing but you can predict where things are heading.
The idea of a revolution i always think the government will do whatever they can to appease people to the bare minimum at which they won't collectively and violently revolt.
I agree
Peep the above Prof. Wolff video if you have time, it's the most basic summary I came across so far.
also im not sure how one would violate labor laws in a society without bosses.
Not necessarily, whatever institution distributes specific needs could potentially "punish" someone for a lack of labor. And that's where the workers come in, to check such institution to ensure that all needs are distributed equally. At the end of the day, it's still gonna be humans running this system, not programmed machines. That's why you need the workers to have power, so they then have leverage at the negotiation table.
No, not the same answer. Because workers don't control property in this anarcho capitalist state you're proposing.
It would be the property owners, in simplest terms.

That's no different than slavery or feudalism really, except that you can choose your slavemaster
They're trying their best lol
Exactly but they can't lmao. And that's a good thing. That's why I like the state. But I'm also being very hyperbolic even in this hypothetical anarcho-capitalist society I think humans would recognize the need for sustainable energy.

goodlooks

It's about the rural poor in America and the decline of industry in America. It's written more like a novel but it's a short and interesting read. You can skip the intro though.
It's funny how most of us if not all to some degree are so accustomed to capitalist structures to where we can't even imagine society functioning in another way
this s*** deep
A lord* of capitalism right here too:

Isn't that what yall think today is though? And nah cuz feudalism runs through heredity where as in the free market no one gives a f*** where you from or who your family is we just care if your product is good and reliable.

Lmaoo I'm here for discourse I am definitely not a socialist. I'm here to learn 🤓
But also by that I meant the mere existence of a state, I do not like what the state has become today (at least the American govt but I can probably say that for most world govts anyway lmao)

Soclalism doesn't mean you can't flex on these hoes. There's a reason why we half-jokingly use the term "fully automated luxury space communism"
But your first part is right. Capitalism is so deeply ingrained into our thinking that it's shocking once you are able to look at it from the out side. A friend of mine who's more on the wealthy and right-wing side read Marx due to my recommendation, and said that afterwards, he became depressed and shocked for a while and had to stop thinking about politics for a month or so. I wouldn't say he's a Marxist not, but he definitely moved further left than he was before.

By the time we reach communism because we literally need it, it deadass will be fully automated luxury space communism lmaoo.
Andrew Yang vibes.

That's the idea. The point of Marxism is not saying "capitalism sucks", it's saying "there are certain flaws in capitalism that can never be resolved", like the idea of competition. Marxists argue that free competition can never really exist due to certain factors that I won't explain right now because it's too complicated for this small post, and that the economy will steadily become focused on less and less actors, and that monopolies will grow. Those monopolies threaten the free competition, and rob capitalism of whatever efficiencies it had. Disney buying 21st Century Fox, or Amazon wrecking havoc on retail is definitely showing this theory to be true in my opinion.
my dad was talking to couple days ago about this guy he watched on youtube which taught marxism as like elective thing at collage/university i like to watch him but i can't remember what his name was?

Agreed. I still don't know how I feel about monopolies being that I wanna own one in the future 🥴

Another major factor that capitalism cannot really resolve is automation, which is why the Yang Gang solution of UBI exists in the first place. This is also something Marx talked about 150 years ago surprisingly. Automation is gonna mean trouble for our current economic system and I am curious to what will happen.

Professor Richard Wolff?
Professor David Harvey?
