Monorails are super underrated

Monorail on tap
Streets with bike lanes and tram lines
Underground train on the bottom
Das what Lenin would have wanted
Also trams without overhead wiring (inductive charging on the station) and with grass on the rails

Another element that is needed: More elevators, escalators and pedestrian bridges in public

All these systems have advantages and disadvantages, that's why you need a mix of them
They still are better than car-centric design
Also you don't wanna be reliant on one system in case you need repairs
I think monorail hate is overstated
DPRK uses East German trains from 70s or something lmao
thats why they push the train
Wonder what happen to ocho
He followed u on ur old twitter acc if u can check
Mine got banned for saying stfu cracker
it depends on what type of transit. this is def true on like NYC subways and also subways in like, philly or something. some public transit like long distance trains are pretty good theyre just super expensive.
on ther other hand regardless of what city you're in, if you get on a bus instead of a train and it's past 3:30pm? this dude's gonna be sitting next to you

I have had a guy in the tram doing shadow boxing kung fu in the aisle shouting KUNG FU KUNG FU while everybody got out of the way
Also a guy screaming his lungs out on a video call like AAAAAAAAAA, then noticing his phone isnt even on
Luckily they all exit after me riding 1 station bc that's where the junkies meet
During the lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 I definitely noticed more weird behavior in public transit and people were angry as shyt

back when i lived in NYC, one time i was taking the 1 train back from lower manhattan at like 2am and some homeless dude got on and loudly announced the usual "hello everyone i am a homeless veteran i have no money and donations would be appreciated" and then paused for a moment and went "also i have aids" and then started spitting on the ground

Brutalism scares the Americans

Would the Iraq war and how disastrous it would end up being for America have a part in the big brain Freudomarxist irrational empire thesis
Ofc Saddam wasn't compliant to US interests and for a long time and there was a real interest in his overthrow but was he really that much of a threat to US hegemony that it warranted what the US did from a purely strategic pov
These project for a new American century neocon fellas all are a bit more irrational than the big brain fellas. Brzezinski and Kennan were outright against it for example (Kissinger was in favor tho)
Also that team B George H. W. Bush set up at the CIA to fabricate intelligence to make the USSR seem more threatening had two future PNAC signatories Donald Rumsfeld & Paul Wolfowitz
Wonder how much of this would have to do with the difference that the end of the cold war made
All the big brain fellas came up during the cold war of course

"I asked why and he said idk" really says a lot here tbh

Like even if they had hundreds of economical reasons political reasons etc it still feels like they dont know wtf they’re supposed to do with this position of leader of the world
problem with america is that their departments are always in conflict. Like the DOJ works with big businesses to wage secret economic wars on their own allies but other institutions like the supreme court are firmly against them doing that. It’s not even a deep state at this point it’s multiple deep states
