if UK/France lost their carribbean territories suddenly, paired with there being a socialist union in the backyard of the US (esp. if likely spearheaded by Cuba) i think you'd see immediate aggression which would almost certainly escalate to war. You can bet the military operations in US territories (i.e. Virgin Islands) would be off the f***ing charts and they'd immediatedly try to isolate the countries as much as possible through embargoes & maybe even physically blocking naval trade routes to prevent inter-island exchange. UK & France would definitely hop in on that too.

Europe turning fascist would lead to mass migration from immigrants in Europe to USCR, there would be a quota favoring non white Euros but it would be kept a secret, but the numbers would be a big talking point in the US

Africans and Latin Americans would move there once it becomes more prosperous and the USA would have less Latino immigrants. If it grows big enough, Pakistanis and Filipinos would prefer working there than in Saudi-Arabia or UAE or Hong Kong. It would be a real melting pot. Many Indians and Indonesians would also move to former Suriname. The population would grow quickly.

I think the islands would be the cultural center of the union with traditional music, dances and festivals, but the caribbean mainland (guyana, suriname, french guiana) would have bigger cities with a more internationalist culture
