Just keep in mind that in general, among communists there are a variety of views on certain topics, your view of communism seems to be very narrow
Just like there's variety between capitalists and capitalist states, there's variety within communism
Even within countries themselves, there have been many policy shifts on religion, Cuba is a good example
One question: Karl Marx said "Religion ist das Opium des Volkes" how can you be a muslim communist?

1. Marx said that religion helps people to cope with reality with that quote, he wasn't anti-religious. Some people hide behind religion to explain away the evils of the world but I think everyone has a duty to make the world a better placr
2. Even though I am a Marxist the theory doesn't start and end with Karl Marx
3. Materialism explains the objective reality of the world but not why this reality exists. Even if we break down everything to the level of atoms the question remains why atoms exist in the first place. This cannot be answered by science really so it takes faith to fill in the blanks
4. If anything capitalism and Islam are not compatible
There have been numerous islamic or christian socialists

When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said 'Let us pray.' We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land. - Desmond Tutu
There is a psychological effect too press people with religion to make people complacent instead of a***yzing their material conditions, and it can degrade class consciousness.
That's all the a***ysis extends to. No one is advocating for the abolishment of religion.
What I'm saying is you don't like the inequality and exploitation of capitalism, but you haven't recognized how it is private property in the first place that creates those conditions.
No one but utopians think there is some perfect system or ideology, but the fact remains that the only way to get rid of that exploitation is to overthrow capitalism, install a socialist state that works its way towards communism.
Read this again quote by synopsis again @xxxkiraxxx
There is no other system of living that we can move forward to because of the material a***ysis of our economy leads us to see the inherent contradictions, which is the stealing of surplus labor, and the bourgeoise owning all of the productive forces (by making island and the machinery private property)
This is what causes such inherent inequality; it was shows the development and underdevelopment side by side; a Tesla next to a homeless man on the same street.
Moving forward from this and having the workers on the productive forces and their surplus labor will eliminate this inequality because it is equally distribute throughout the masses.
Contrary to popular belief, businesses are not "owned by the government" they are governed by the people, but the state does have a plan. There is workplace democracy; vote on your leaders and managers, without fear of being fired because your labor is no longer a commodity (you are guaranteed a job)
You said you dislike people who praise Stalin/Mao etc... we do too.
We praise them for their successes, but we also critique them for their failures. To not do so is to look at them ideally, and not in a materialistic way.
Keep in mind that Marxism-Leninism is the only ideology which works to bring about socialism for decades; it has been tried and true multiple times. It has worked in Ghana, Burkina Faso, Cuba, China, USSR, etc.
We see that we have failed many times. From assasinations to coups to internal power grabbers. We see this and we morph our ideology into new synthesis. This is the basis of materialist thought.
I love our anarchist comrades, but Anarchist states fall away very fast because of their decentralized relationships with their military and the lack of a direct plan of action, and they have failed to synthesize their ideology into new thought which has been even mildly successful. Abolishing all hierarchy is not possible -- it is idealistic -- despite how lovely it sounds.
There needs to be a strong state before communism develops due to external factors (the US going in and f***ing s*** up), and internal factors, like counter revolutionaries (and god do they come, power doesn't come immediately after a revolution).
Have fun learning man, there's so much to learn!

We'll see....
Just because private investors call it socialism doesn't mean it is, they're not exactly precise in their use of political terms

Did someone post the factoid in here that said Chinese tech has already lost like 100b or some obscene number since they've been cracking down
edit:
"the Hang Seng Tech index, launched with fanfare last July and comprising internet darlings-turned-gargantuan blue chips such as Tencent and Alibaba, has cratered 40% since February to record lows."
