The take that socialism is white makes me sad because it isn't. Tell that to Toure, Nkrumah, Rodney, Sankara, Jose Maria Sison, Lumumba, and many others and you'd get slapped upside the head

Realize this is a white supremacist tactic because it erases all of these revolutionaries efforts.

In fact, the ONLY successful revolutions have been in nonwhite countries!

physical books are the best but e-readers are so convenient for <100 page books which seems to occur a lot in leftist reading

I don’t have an e reader just strain my eyes reading my laptop because I’m broke

I’m honestly bad about reading books

I often times just read chapters about things I’m the most interested in.

They can cost a decent amount, especially when you pay for books on it. Although, you can obtain books which in the end makes e-readers cheaper when compared to physical.

the thing with me is i’m in college and that comes with a certain amount of necessary reading with the curriculum

but also i have to educate myself on socialism separately because that’s not provided for me in my education

so it’s like so scattered everywhere.
yet i read so many words on my phone or computer

it’s a great dumbing down to have a smartphone with no discipline

i would always say read if you can, because reading the actual ideas and words that guys like lenin, marx, mao, fanon etc., wrote is enlightening in a way thats hard to describe

it can be hard tho. ive always enjoyed reading since like kindergarten so its super easy to me, but this isn't the case for a lot of people
