Are there any writers or minds that are disconnected from Caucasian train of thought, that can speak on socialism and ideals you're referencing?

@spacecadet u got anything in mind? i feel like you were talking about this in some capacity a few pages back

    Plenty.

Frantz Fanon - The Wretched of the Earth

Stokely Carmichael, Thomas Sankara, Mao Zedong, Ho Chi Minh also come to mind. But many more. You can read that book. It's about colonialism

Frantz Fanon is a marxist who was an Algerian revolutionary and psychiatrist who's writing focus decolonisation, I only read wretched of the earth which was great and depressing book especially the end where he writes about patients he had the traumas and mental illness they had due to colonisation, heard Black Skins White Mask is great as well and its by him.

racial revanchism might be the biggest obstacle to achieving class consciousness

That being said Marxism isnt inherently Caucasian. Marx was a pretty dark Jew. The Soviets wouldnt have been considered white by the rest of Europe, instead seen as Eurasian.

You still have more in common with a white worker than you do with a black billionaire, trust me.

One of the things that impressed Muhammad Ali about visiting the USSR was the racial harmony there. There was a university named after Patrice Lumumba where many Africans went to study.

We definitely have to put class first, while still acknowledging that other friction points exist such as skin color, ethnicity, religion, sex...

Intersectional is a trendy term but it got repurposed. It's class and identity, but nowadays they use it for just identity. Kinda wack.

well i guess on some limited level my sociology courses in college taught about socioeconomic status as a part of intersectionality (which would also include sexuality, race gender s***etc) but class itself wasn’t addressed as much as it is important, or, maybe none of the students even knew to bring it up or talk about it at all

Class gets treated as another subgenre of identity, that's the disingenious part. All of the other things have to do with your body and self, class has to do with your property

One can say that they have more in common w/a different racial counterpart however I disagree.

What are the odds that you walk into a black owned corner store in the average white or asian neighborhood? We all know the demographic of the average corner store owner in a black neighborhood.

By no means is this victimization but black people have a more uphill battle at equaling races in various industries. Unless they're on our kick, working hand in hand gets us nowhere.

Yep he had a Swarthy skin tone. Marx was the same skin tone as Obama if not darker. It still doesn't matter when their mindset belongs to game.

Obviously black Americans are at a systemic disadvantage and thus poorer on average

However we don't advocate for black capitalism or whatever like Killer Mike types do, nor do we advocate for any type of capitalism.

It is unlikely the US changes its system soon. The focus there should be on organizing laborers and, if entrepreneurship is chosen, founding co-ops.

Somewhere I have an actual portrait of Marx. However, when I see portraits such as these, it's a reminder that these type of folk aren't here to aid humanity. They're here to preserve the ideals and stir society in a particular direction. That's just me though

Marx didn't preserve any ideals. If anything he is vilified up until today for going against the ideals of his and our time.

i think the idea many of us have is that socialism and it’s related ideas will do much more for those issues than making inroads into the capitalist structure ever will
