Who the f*** wants to spend time clarifying theory and dividing the proletariat instead of actually commiting to praxis
I really don’t understand any self proclaimed communist who spends their time online talking s*** to others instead of out committing to praxis
They bought like 200 acres of land to build a commune then they posted a picture of them pretending to burn the diary of Anne Frank saying they use her book as fuel for their camp
lmao
these are exactly the nerds that obfuscate the entire point of leftism
These black hammer f***s are getting called Maoists like people don’t already think Maoists weird enough

could have just been a boring episode or something,
I feel like he gets plenty of good guests and talks about a wide range of topics / its still worth it to me
i kinda just pick and choose what topics seem most interesting and listen to those

Not sure I like their episode on the RAF, Red Menace is one of the Rev Left people and it had some good episodes over the Summer. I haven’t looked at it recently
My favorite leftist content creator is Black Red Guard atm, I disagree with him on some things but enjoy his videos. His a***ysis of why the US Left is weak was really good imo
How would hotels work under socialism? (not a gotcha, just wondering)
Depends on who you ask, but hotels are allowed in socialist societies. Housing would be considered a human right, and the hotels would be socially-owned or owned by the state, depending on who you ask. Proceeds would either go to the workers or directly to the state to be distributed to the workers by it. (State ownership vs. worker co-op ownership).
Luxury hotels could be up for debate as it may be considered a waste of resources by some.
Socialism is a very broad concept with different interpretations.

Probably basically the same just the workers would run the hotel

Currently reading "Fascism: Theory and Practice", great book. I never expect liberal academics to have the clearest a***yses but their treatment of Fascism around the 90s truly leaves you dumbfounded. It also talks about far right movements in 90s Western Europe and its sobering to see what dark roads Germany in particular could have gone down.
