Anyone here have any advice starting a book club to educate people on class consciousness?

I have this idea to start a book club and talk about Marxism with my friends. I want to make sure I understand it the best I can.

The main goal of this is to organize with like minded people who are willing to educate locally. I partially still believe in change within the system on a local level but unless we're all on the same page it's not going to go anywhere.

my advice is that you should actually start it. appoint someone into a leadership role whose dedicated so it doesn't become a s***show. dont even worry about any organizing right now, focus on studying for awhile so that you can move correctly when the time comes.
