Multipolarity bros get on my nerves. They get their talking points from dugin who is clearly a facist. The truth is china and Russia are both imperialist countries with no bodies best interests at heart except for their own ruling classes

I feel you, people like Max Blumenthal whos whole idealogy is anti-Western imperialism but they're still not Communists. Lame!

  • Plight

Yo quick question. How many gaza children has China killed?

Don't deflect from the fact you insulted me for no reason

I've been in enough marxist communities to know there's a correlation

its the opposite, people call themselves "marxists" and then dont do the work of self-criticism or purging themselves of their liberal ideology. marxism instead exists as a means of "filling in the gaps" of liberalism which would normally be filled by conspiracies. thats how you wind up with people like that.

it was always funny to me how western marxist communities are so balls deep in respectability and its variations almost universally. personally im not gonna divorce anyone over being either wrong or not presenting their position eloquently enough. maybe thats just the nature of a lot of these communities being club-like organizations

This would be solved by them reading combat liberalism. They shouldn't make frivolous critiques of their comrades

That text doesn’t really have a lot to do with liberal ideology that much, just liberal behaviors in organizing

Thats not what I implied. And I know what this text is about I read it. I'm saying making frivolous critiques of comrades is a form of liberalism mentioned

yes I know, I'm saying the two things are connected (retaining liberalism in your ideology and acting as a liberal in practice). but the former is primary and Mao doesnt really get into it in Combat Liberalism.

Snowboy was talking about how liberalism still infects certain “Marxists” worldview. You said this problem could be solved by reading Combat Liberalism. Now you’re making a completey different point. I’m not sure what you’re trying to say, I’m merely responding to the claim you made

That's what I was trying to say basically. Behaving as a liberal means acting halfheartedly in your party and only contributing in a way that benefits you. An example of this would be the guy insulting me which is what my original post was about

Like the other guy said a liberal worldview and acting as a liberal in practice go hand in hand

  • Jul 11, 2024

Ooooh you know there’s some powerful energies being messed with when the “you’re acting liberal” card gets played

this is called tone policing bro. "respectability" and "politeness" always come at the expense of other people, communist parties have no room for such nonsense.

No. I'm concerned with someone being a constructive part of the movement

  • Jul 11, 2024

yall wouldn't survive 15 minutes in a room with Lenin he'd turn you into a social democrat in 10 and then spent another 5 talking s*** about thirty other people

Constructive participation can be muffled by not telling people the hard truth when they’re wrong for the sake of “respectability”

ive been thinking about this during my time at encampment

Tone policing, respectable language, and the like was a massive facet in our internal politics

  • Jul 11, 2024

Especially considering the encampment was a number of first year rookie participants and lib-anarchist hippies
