Under full socialism, are there more or less entrepreneurs?
More or less factories?
More or less high rise apartments?
More or less single family home owners?
Also for example, with the upcoming vaccine, are ppl forced to get the latest vaccinations or is this optional?
Thanks for answering, I’m not too into politics and am here to learn.

Less entrepreneurs, but economies of scale will offset this
I mean capitalism has a tendency to monopolize the economy as well, see Wal-Mart or Amazon killing off their competition, the phenomenon is not unique to socialism
More factories, because the West has de-industrialized and offshored most of their manufacturing. Full socialism as you call it would re-industrialize society and focus on automating as much labor as possible within those factories.
More high-rise apartments, since it would facilitate less car usage and ease the planning public transit, help the environment, help people being able to walk more easily to their destinations and prevent traffic congestion (= time loss = loss for economy)
Less home owners, obviously, that suburban home with lawn ain't cutting it no more
Nobody would get forced to take a vaccine but I doubt the society would have much pity with you if you are able to get the vaccine, decide not to and then need hospital attention later on because of the virus
I'm bout to finish up Capitalist realism and come back ITT

Possibly, I just can’t get behind people blaming capitalism for what is a US-specific systemic issue that’s caused by political corruption & special interest influence
9/10 of the “best countries to live” are capitalist nations
With that being said I think we can both agree things like universal healthcare, universal basic income, and affordable education for all people would benefit everybody
But to me, by definition, these things are not dependent on socialism or capitalism, they are dependent on a competent government that serves its people
In my opinion, the purpose of government should be to provide for what the markets cannot

I mean I'm not an economist so I can't really speak on these complex issues which is why I just listen to actual economists do it lmfaoooo
But the way he explained it all was very insightful. He started it talking about politics and economy from before even the first industrial revolution and then moving on through the first and second industrial revolutions. Very insightful stuff to learn, particularly about economic vs political power. Anyway I can hardly so it justice. The first hour has enough info to take me weeks to digest lmfaooo

Theres no such thing as corporate socialism
Its just capitalism

Perhaps it's fair to say it's a feature of capitalism?
Perhaps it's fair to say it's a feature of capitalism?
i think its still disconnected because for the people who are ultra-wealthy, capitalism has allowed them to extract and drain all the labor out of the working class, and reap the fruits of their work,
the term doesn't really apply anymore, unless you're equating 'socialism' and 'preferential treatment' to each other, i see where you're coming from but when looked at it doesn't apply lol
Perhaps it's fair to say it's a feature of capitalism?
socialism at least how i understand it wouldn't have those ultrawealthy who're benefitting so strongly from work they had zero part in, vis-à-vis capitalism
yall too smart for me

i've just been thinking in terms of labor and the workplace when I think about it recently
