everybody in DSA thinks those nordic countries are socialist, they're anti-marxist + anti-communist

from what i know about marxism its one of the philosophies i agree with the most among all this.

but yeah its kinda stupid to be associating with socialism yet be anti-marxist and anti-communist , if what you're saying is true

Even if you're not wanting to fully embrace communism, which i get, because i do think it will be a serious, longer transition for it to truly be successful and lasting imo, im not talking about just a communist party or this or that.

i've been learning more and more of what its about but i think people use that term if one or more elements is socialist technically, there could be other elements that aren't, and they still get labelled socialist i guess just by certain functioning parts of their country that are so

of course what im saying isn't 100% true, they do have marxist caucuses. But they still fundamentally lack revolutionary politics.

from what i understand they're just a big tent for all the tendencies or w/e

I hesitate to discourage people who are actively trying to make things better even if it doesn't feel like enough, maybe they will sway some s***.

way i see it the more coalitions we can bring together for a cause the better things can get done, at least as far as US politics go
