everything about this article is infuriating (rhetorical questions below)

1) why are we supposed to act like a cocaine doordash app is just a thing that's commonly known and acceptable
2) why are these d*** addicts getting special treatment being treated like martyrs for a crisis affecting hundreds of thousands of americans
3) what makes this situation more grave than the wider crisis crippling communities throughout the country and keeping people regularly ODing on the streets

I ordered some loud and shrooms while I was there and dude pulled up on his bike in like 10 minutes

Im shocked they’re not getting robbed more often because between the pounds of various shroom strains, pounds of weed, various edibles and oils etc. he had to have easily $10k worth of product on him and I didn’t even ask about whatever hard s*** he probably had that they didn’t post on their public menu

It doesn’t make sense from a buyer or seller side of things

You can’t sell coke to dead customers and 90% of the market isn’t trying to do coke and an opiate at the same time

As someone who has done a lot of coke, we’re all well aware most of that s*** is stepped on. But your much more likely to see diet pills and vitamin d than you are fent in that s*** (big pro tip: buy an ounce, take a couple grams out for yourself, and toss half an ounce of vitamin d in that the rest of that s*** and go to a rich kid college bar and make bank)

Fent is almost always a really yellowy or even purple color and I’m not sure how you toss enough in there to be lethal without it being painfully obvious it’s NOT good

You’ll notice all these coke/fent OD stories started popping up around the same time there was a video every week showing cops supposedly ODing for simply touching fent or “inhaling” it which is literally not how powdered d**** work. You’ll notice in all these videos they act like they’re having a panic attack or some s*** which is the exact opposite reaction anyone ODing on an opiate is going to do lol

I think it’s some nefarious s*** on the DEA/cops part to drum up hysteria and justify their existence more at a time when people are increasingly skeptical of what they do and d**** are becoming decriminalized in more and more places. Smells like a lot of copaganda to me. Someone might be putting fent in coke but it’s definitely not your average coke dealer

At best, these are dumb stories rich kids families come up with to make it seem like “oh he just tried coke one time and this happened, he was a good kid” to shift attention from the fact their kid was probably doing dog food on a weekly basis because casually doing coke is way more socially acceptable than being strung out on opiates all the time. This also plays into what Krishna was saying about trying to shift attention from the much more serious issue of rampant opiate addiction in this country. All the fetty users I’ve known are either seeking that or H out, not getting f***ed up off a bad bag of blow

idk i def saw a ton of MAGA s*** in that sxn when that stuff was happening. MAGA is a lot less in your face and easier to hide than like blatant antisemitism/etc tho so that's probably a factor just as an aside from any pathologizing
