When women are slightly mean to men : its a symptom of collapse
when i first opened this thread today and left my comment and closed the thread i almost immediately got a notification on my phone about another guy getting arrested for murdering a woman and idk i feel like it kinda summed it up for me

Well u see some women say very mean things about men and i think thats really messed up.
I was interested in hearing some good points, but OP didn't give us anything, but a chart
...and yes yall, there's a rise of misandry. Just not as big as misogyny tho
I keep seeing bell hooks name pop up. Is this a good one to start with?
mm. i'd start with all about Love since its the consensus favorite & grounding for understanding her politic.
started reading this one and had to put it down bc the optimism/ideals of her vision almost made reality so much more depressing for not living up to it.
she wrote this decades ago and its like culturally/socially were still stuck between misandrists pretending to be feminist, myopic "misandry is warranted" defense from men who claim to be feminist and "men's rights"/patriarchal pushback from misogynists rather than everyone seeing the real big picture. thought the people itt cud find it useful

I don't really like bell hooks
I think hatred across the board is spreading in massive ways. Misandry is really bad, but it's not a singular issue, it's part of a wider issue societally.
Honestly, covid lockdowns completely ruined human culture. That's my take. Everyone is pissed off and addicted to gambling and attention.
I just try to be the best man I can be. Informed. Educated. Respectful. I got my opinions sure but my ex of three years was a black feminist and I learned a lot. It’s better to listen and learn sometimes. Not everything requires a response
With women, it can be a lot of reading between the lines. I work on trying to be intuitive. Not always responding to the words that are being said but interpreting the meaning behind it.

someone had to teach you that?
women arent the only people who are like that.
