Show got dozens of characters and only bout 2 of em are written smartly. Every other character just an NPC that exists to tell Franklin he wrong or to just move the story forward.

Why? Because Teddy was lying. Franklin was never getting the money 😂😂😂😂. Teddy has backup plan after backup plan and already told Franklin that he wanted to kill his whole family. If you trust a word Teddy says, then you’re a fool. Teddy would’ve just used a code word and feds were all around

Feel like the writing for this latest episode was very hamfisted. They didn't know how to tie up the various storylines. Gustavo's send off was very... anti climatic. Louie killing the crackhead cop wasn't much of a pay off. Sissy's still being distraught about Alton is understandable after sleeping on it, but still don't like her doing that out in the open.

To me Franklin needs to either be arrested, broke, or dead at the end of this. I keep half expecting Veronique to run off with her baby, to go live with her mother. Giving him a "good" ending imo just loses the last bit of grounded realism left in the show. As far as I can tell there is no physical evidence that ties Franklin to anything substantial, but when the government wants you, they're gonna find some charges, whether it be tax evasion, or jay walking.

The only person I can see walking away from this unscathed (legally) is Leon, but even then I think he should be shot by someone in the hood looking to make a name for themselves. That's just how s*** worked back then. Cause that half way crook-self righteous s*** he tryna do, niggas are not gonna be with it at the level he's at. Unless he fully gets out the game once and for all.

Louie either gonna have to escape down south somewhere and live more or less destitute for a while, or DEA finds her, and books her. I could see her potentially snitching on Franklin if that is the case, I don't think she would, but she really hates Franklin now, so either that or someone from Kane's crew slides on her if she ever goes back to the hood.

I'm not against happy endings, but I feel like s*** has gone so far left that it would be some crazy ass pulling to give all of these characters a happy ending. Outside of Oso and Leon, I think everyone else is beyond evading the consequences of their actions.

I'll call bullshit any ending where Franklin & Veronique get the money, and both of them live. I can see Franklin doing a "faked my death" type play in order to get the CIA, DEA, FBI n em off his back. I wouldn't mind that ending, BUT he can't have the money, and Veronique in that scenario. Just too big a W vs everything he's been up against.
