This franchise introduced a lot of people to skateboarding in a similar way that the tony hawk franchise did for me. Skate 1 has so much soul and the grit in its art style is incredible. The spots, the story, the character interactions/missions made 1-3 special and unique with each entry.

This game is a slap in the face. A cartoony free to play sandbox game with s*** spots, no pros, no soul, floaty & unrealistic gravity and a huge focus on f***in parkour

I hope they have a hardcore mode and add some actual real life skate spots, this is a terrible representation of where skateboarding is right now and I highly doubt it’ll do a fraction of what the original games did for the skateboard industry
