Luckily in apocalypse its way better. My only complaint with IV is the wack map that would confuse the hell out of me

Nocturne HD is going to do really well. Probably better than some people are expecting.

It’ll sell well I believe but I don’t think a lot of people will stick around unfortunately. People play Persona because of the dating sim and weeb elements. When they realize Nocturne has none of that after the first few hours + getting noob blocked by Matador they’ll complain about it not being Persona and being hard

Exactly. If anything maybe smt v will sell a lot if nintendo markets it well, at least like they did with games like xenoblade that granted had anime tiddies but was still a relatively niche series

They'll face the same bump in the road as Sega/Yakuza will with localization but worse.

Smt V will have simultaneous worldwide release so no problemo

Sega got westerners hooked with Yakuza 0/6. Then the remasters/ports followed and now they will attempt to pass 7 just off name(Yakuza) alone w/ a turn based system. I dont mind this but I think it could set them back.

SMT is gonna push the Nocturne remaster and the new game off of honestly the Persona name. Unfortunately that is not what these fans are going to get. It’s honestly time to move on from P5 after scramble. In 4 years we’ll have gotten P5, P5: Dancing In Starlight, PQ2, P5: Royal & P5: Scramble. Lets get on to P6 or something.

I don’t hate P5 but goddamn. They’re wearing that s*** out. I know personally a lot people who are already not interested in the SMT titles but love Persona 5 and/or 4.

Yakuza 0 is one of my favs in the series

Im one of the people who got interested in smt after hearing of p5 so i hope other people do as well, in many ways smt is better than persona so i hope people who liked the gameplay of persona and not only the dating aspect of the game check out the main series.
I haven't even played p5 btw lol im just waiting for a switch port that's never coming but whatever, im still supporting atlus no matter what.
And yeah i need to find a way to play yakuza 0, heard too many great things about it
