Played SMT IV up to the Tokyo Part where the game makes a big change in the overworld and I have to say it, it was great and I really liked a lot of the things they did in the game, it is really well made. Great gameplay + very interesting history

Couldnt finish the game because life but I have to finish it and play another SMT

Beat iv in law route! Now In apocalypse thinking of doing a gun build what u think ?

Id suggest replaying smt iv to get the neutral run or at least watch the neutral ending on youtube first lol, it helps a ton understanding apocalypse cause its set in the neutral route. If you plan on replaying the game choose to reincarnate so it gets easier and faster and also keep a guide on hand at all times cause getting the neutral ending is tricky. Like i said earlier tho you can Just watch it if you dont want to replay the game all over again.

But to answer your question, apocalypse is less broken than IV (smirking has its advantages but its not op like in iv for example) and also demons tend to have more weaknesses so i personally went with a magic build to have all type of moves at hand. You should be good with a gun build tho so you can go with that.
